RankYak Review (2026): Pricing, Free Trial, Backlink Exchange and Is It Legit? Compared With Rocketito
RankYak (rankyak.com) is an AI SEO autopilot that researches keywords, writes up to 30 articles a month, publishes them to your site and runs an automated backlink exchange, for $99 a month. It has a 3-day free trial and says you can cancel anytime, but its pricing page states no refund policy. It is a young product with very little independent review evidence: when we read its Trustpilot page it had a single review.
We make Rocketito, a competing tool, so we are not neutral. We state where each figure comes from, we mark what we could not verify, and we did not test RankYak ourselves. Everything about RankYak below was read from its own site and its Trustpilot page on 25 October 2026.

What RankYak Is and How It Works
RankYak describes itself as a way to "get Google and ChatGPT traffic on autopilot". From its homepage, the product has these parts:
- Keyword research: finds and scores keywords for Google and AI chats, groups them into clusters, and waits for your approval unless you switch on auto-approve.
- Content plan: a calendar for scheduling articles, with an optional full-autopilot mode.
- Articles: built from research on top-ranking pages and written in your brand voice, with headings, internal links, images, YouTube videos and cited sources.
- Publishing: WordPress, WordPress.com, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Ghost, Duda, Zapier and Make, plus an RSS feed, a REST API, webhooks and an MCP server.
- Backlink exchange: matches your site with partner sites in its network and builds links automatically, without outreach.
- Site Guard: checks selected existing pages daily for weak titles, meta descriptions and click-through rates, and flags cannibalization. Fixes wait for your approval.
- Yuno: an in-app AI assistant that answers questions about your site and can make changes, with article edits awaiting your approval.
Two details matter if you plan to try it. Per its pricing page, the backlink exchange "opens when your subscription starts, after the trial", so you cannot see how the links work during the 3 free days. And Site Guard is not part of the $99 plan: it is a separate add-on.
What RankYak Costs, Including Add-Ons
RankYak has one core plan, RankYak Pro, at $99 a month. The page also shows a yearly toggle at $82.50 a month with a note saying "2 months free", but it does not state the yearly total or the billing terms, so confirm the amount at checkout before you pay. The plan includes 30 SEO and GEO articles ("1 per day"). The FAQ says you choose the publishing days, so a site that publishes only on weekdays gets about 21 articles a month, and some days can be used to refresh existing articles instead of writing new ones.
| Item | Price (per its pages) |
|---|---|
| RankYak Pro, monthly | $99 a month |
| RankYak Pro, yearly toggle | $82.50 a month (yearly total not stated) |
| Each additional website | $99 a month, subject to fair use |
| Site Guard add-on | $99 a month per site |
| Cannibalization Guard and one-click fixes | Listed as separate add-ons, price not shown |
| Agency Partner | Same price as the first site for each client site |
What a Realistic RankYak Bill Looks Like
The base price is the starting point, not the bill for everyone. Our arithmetic on the published prices:
- One site, Pro only: $99 a month, which is $1,188 over 12 months.
- One site with Site Guard: $198 a month.
- Two sites, Pro only: $198 a month.
- One site on the yearly toggle: $82.50 a month, which would be $990 over 12 months if the toggle means a yearly payment. The page does not say so, which is why we mark it as our reading.
What RankYak Says About Its Results
RankYak's homepage shows a 4.8 out of 5 rating, "60,000+ articles generated" and four case studies it labels as verified by Ahrefs: an insurance business with 721% growth to 23,700 monthly organic visitors after 6 months, a marketing agency with 289% growth and 1,892 keywords in the top 20 after 8 months, an analytics SaaS with 286% growth and 463 keywords in the top 20 after 6 months, and a fashion e-commerce site with 71% growth and 249 monthly AI mentions after 5 months.
These are the vendor's own figures. We could not verify them, we do not know how those sites were chosen, and a result on one site depends on its niche, its competition and its age. Treat them as claims to test, and when any vendor quotes a traffic uplift, ask for the date, the site and a Search Console screenshot.
What Reviewers Say: Only One Trustpilot Review
On 25 October 2026, RankYak's Trustpilot page showed a score of 3.7 while its star graphic read 3.5, and the page listed one review in the last 12 months. That review, posted on 10 August 2026 by a US reviewer, gave five stars, called RankYak one of the best hidden gems among SEO tools and reported that organic traffic rose 308% since they started. It is labelled as unprompted, and the company replied the next day.
One review is not enough to judge a product. It is positive, it carries a traffic number we cannot check, and it says nothing about billing, support or cancelling, which are the areas where other article autopilots collect their complaints. We found no critical reviews, and we also found no meaningful body of independent reviews at all. A search for RankYak reviews mostly returned the vendor's own pages, listings and competitor comparisons.
The Backlink Exchange and Google's Spam Policy
RankYak's homepage says its exchange matches your site with relevant partner sites and builds links automatically, without outreach. We could not see the mechanics, how many links it places, where they appear, or whether you can review and remove them.
What Google says is on its spam policies page, updated 28 August 2026. It defines link spam as creating links to or from a site primarily to manipulate search rankings, and its examples include excessive link exchanges, such as reciprocal "link to me and I'll link to you" arrangements, and buying or selling links for ranking purposes. Paid links are not a violation when marked rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored".
We cannot say whether any particular RankYak link would be treated as spam, because that depends on how the links are placed, how relevant they are and how many there are. The fair reading is that a network exchange between member sites resembles what Google describes. If you use it, keep volume low, ask to see where every link is placed, and do not rely on it as your only authority source.
Content Quality: The Other Google Risk
Google's spam policies also name scaled content abuse: many pages generated mainly to manipulate rankings rather than help users. Thirty articles a month is not abuse in itself, since the test is whether each page is useful. Whichever tool you use, check every article for:
- Accuracy: names, prices, dates and claims about your business.
- Usefulness: does it answer a question a customer actually asks?
- Sameness: several articles saying the same thing in different words.
- Sources: do the cited links exist and say what the article claims?
Is RankYak Legit?
If "legit" means "is it a real product that does what it says", the evidence we found says it is a real, working product with a public price list, a named founding team and a trial. If it means "is it proven and risk free", we cannot say that: it is young, its results are the vendor's own, there is one Trustpilot review, no refund policy is stated, and the backlink exchange is the kind of feature Google's policy warns about. None of this means RankYak is a scam. It means the evidence is thin, so test it on a trial with a reminder set.
RankYak Pros and Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Keyword research, articles and publishing in one plan | $99 a month for 30 articles, higher than most alternatives |
| 40+ languages and many publishing integrations, including an MCP server | Backlink exchange resembles a link scheme in Google's spam policy |
| Site Guard audits existing pages for weak titles and cannibalization | Site Guard costs another $99 a month per site |
| 3-day free trial with full access | No refund policy stated on the page |
| Optional approval step before articles go live | Each extra site costs another $99 a month |
| Public founders and a fast reply to its one review | Only one Trustpilot review, so little independent evidence |
Questions to Ask RankYak Before You Pay
- What is the yearly total behind the $82.50 a month toggle, and is it refundable?
- Is there a refund window, and where is it written?
- Does the trial need a card, and what is charged when it ends?
- Where will my backlinks be placed, can I see them, and can I remove them?
- What happens to my published articles and links if I cancel?
- How do I cancel, and how do I prove I did?
- Which sites in the case studies can I look at in Search Console?
How to Protect Yourself If You Try Any Article Autopilot
- Read the refund and cancellation terms first. RankYak's page says cancel anytime and states no refund policy.
- Put a reminder in your calendar for the day before any trial or renewal ends.
- Screenshot your cancellation and check your card statement the following month.
- Read every article before it goes live. Automation does not remove your responsibility for what appears on your site.
- Check your results in Google Search Console, not in the vendor's dashboard: clicks, impressions and which pages are indexed.
Who Should Choose RankYak, and Who Should Not
| Your situation | Better fit |
|---|---|
| You want a site audit that flags weak titles and cannibalization, and accept paying for it | RankYak with Site Guard |
| You publish in many languages (40+) | RankYak |
| You want a built-in link exchange and accept the risk | RankYak |
| You want 30 or 31 articles without a link exchange | Rocketito or another content-only tool |

| You want to keep link building separate and under your control | A content-only tool plus your own outreach |
RankYak vs Rocketito: What Is Clear and What Is Measured
Both write and publish articles to your website, and both offer a 3-day free trial. Here is Rocketito stated as plainly as we can, because unclear terms are what most complaints about article autopilots are about:
- Price: $79 a month for 31 articles, or $47 a month billed as $564 a year for 62 articles a month. There are no add-on prices, because there are no add-ons for images, backlinks or extra articles.
- Trial: 3 days, free, with a card required.
- Refunds: none. We say so before you pay, and the trial is how you test the product.
- Cancelling: from the billing section of your dashboard, or by email to support@rocketito.com.
- Publishing: WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Ghost or any webhook.
- What it does not do: build backlinks, manage your Google Business Profile or collect reviews.
On price per article, our arithmetic from published prices: RankYak Pro at $99 for 30 articles is $3.30 an article, or $2.75 on the yearly toggle. Rocketito at $79 for 31 articles is $2.55 an article, and $0.76 an article on the annual plan ($564 for 744 articles over a year). RankYak has things Rocketito does not: more languages, a paid audit tool and a link exchange. Rocketito has no link exchange, which is a feature for some buyers and a gap for others.
What have we measured? As of 23 October 2026, 153 articles have been published to customers' websites through Rocketito, 61 of them in the last 30 days, with the first published on 16 May 2026. That is a count from our own production data, not a ranking claim. We have not measured customers' rankings or traffic across accounts, so we do not quote any.

Currencies and billing periods differ, and several pages do not say whether a price is monthly or annual, so confirm the figure at checkout. RankYak was read on 25 October 2026 and the other vendors on 23 October 2026. The cheapest route is not always the best one: what matters is what you get for it and how easy it is to leave, which is why the refund, trial and cancellation columns deserve as much attention as the price.
What They Cost Over 12 Months
Our arithmetic on the lowest published price of each tool, before add-ons and tax:
- GrandRanker: 288 EUR billed yearly.
- TrySoro: $468 at the starting price (plan not stated).
- BabyLoveGrowth: 588 EUR at the monthly price (annual price unclear).
- Rocketito: $564 on the annual plan, or $948 paying monthly.
- Outrank: $999 on its yearly price.
- RankYak: $990 if the yearly toggle is a yearly payment, or $1,188 paying monthly.
How We Checked This
RankYak's prices, plan contents, features, trial wording, case-study figures and integrations come from its homepage and pricing page, read on 25 October 2026. The Trustpilot figures (3.7 shown, one review posted on 10 August 2026, the unprompted label and the company reply) come from its public Trustpilot page on the same date. Prices for Outrank, TrySoro, BabyLoveGrowth and GrandRanker come from each vendor's own pricing page on 23 October 2026. Statements about Google come from its spam policies page, updated 28 August 2026. The Rocketito article counts come from our own production data on 23 October 2026. We did not test RankYak or try to cancel it, we could not verify its case studies, and we did not find its terms or refund page. Prices and scores change, so check them again before you buy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is RankYak legit?
It is a real, working product with a public price list, named founders and a 3-day trial. The independent evidence is thin: one Trustpilot review when we read it, results that come from the vendor, and no refund policy stated. Test it on the trial and set a reminder.
How much does RankYak cost?
$99 a month for 30 articles, or $82.50 a month on the yearly toggle, which the page does not explain in full. Each extra website costs $99 a month and the Site Guard audit add-on another $99 a month.
Does RankYak have a free trial?
Yes. Its page says full access for 3 days and cancel anytime. The backlink exchange only opens after the trial, when the subscription starts.
Does RankYak offer a refund?
Its pages do not state a refund policy. Get the terms in writing before you pay.
What is RankYak's Trustpilot rating?
3.7 shown on 25 October 2026, based on one five-star review from 10 August 2026. With a single review the score says very little.
Does RankYak build backlinks?
Yes, through an automated exchange with partner sites in its network. Google's spam policy lists excessive link exchanges as link spam, so keep volume low and check where your links are placed.
Can I cancel RankYak anytime?
Its pages say cancel anytime. We found no reviews about cancelling, and we did not try it, so keep a screenshot of your cancellation.
How many articles does RankYak write?
30 a month on Pro, one per day. Its FAQ says a weekday schedule gives about 21, because you choose the publishing days and some days can refresh existing articles.
What is a good RankYak alternative?
It depends on what you need. For articles without a link exchange, compare content-only tools by price, trial and refund terms, for example Rocketito, TrySoro or GrandRanker. For measurement, use Google Search Console.
How is Rocketito different from RankYak?
Rocketito is $79 a month for 31 articles, or $47 a month billed yearly for 62 articles a month, with a 3-day free trial and no refunds, and it has no backlink exchange or site audit add-on. RankYak is $99 for 30 articles with a link exchange, 40+ languages and a paid audit tool.
